Services for Viola Faye Cain, 78, of Henderson, formerly of Malakoff, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at the Henderson Metro Church with the Rev. Nathan Cain and the Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Crawford – A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.

Viola Faye passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born Dec. 27, 1932 in the Payne Springs community, and had lived in Henderson since 1997. She was retired from Curtis Mathes where she worked as a manager. She was a member of the Henderson Metro Church.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Henderson Metro Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bertha Harkey.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Deana and Bruce Gruver of Garland; son and daughter-in-law, Billy Paul and Donna Cain of Henderson; brother, Glenn Harvey and wife Elaine of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Wanda Jean Wheeler and husband Lon of Houston, and Barbara Dickerson and husband Dick of Red Oak; eight grandchildren, Natalie Elmore and husband Matt, Nathan Cain and wife K.c., Nick Cain and wife Kacy, Brinson Gruver and wife Ashley, Trevor Gruver, Hannah Gruver, Nancie Cain, and Isyln Gruver; eight great-grandchildren, and one on the way.

Pallbearers are Brinson Gruver, Trevor Gruver, Nick Cain, Matt Elmore, Tom Harkey, and Mark Wheeler.

    I am sorry about your loss. I worked with Faye at Curtis Mathes for a number of years. She was a great and wonderful person. You all are in my prayers. God Bless.
